Calculate the price of a taxi ride
Each driver cannot set his own rate!
The price of a taxi journey is regulated by prefectural decree and calculated based on very precise rules; The calculation of the amount of the taxi journey is based on
the taximeter, a kilometer counter which must be fitted to the taxi vehicle.
Several criteria are taken into account when calculating the price of a taxi journey:
The cost of support (amount displayed when the meter is activated)
The rate per kilometer traveled
The hourly rate
The type of trip (one way or round trip)
Race schedule (specific prices for races)

About
The driver must turn on the taximeter at the beginning of the journey. The start of the journey is considered as follows:
- when leaving the taxi rank (station), in the event that the taxi, waiting at its rank, is called by telephone or any other means of communication. The taximeter is then activated when leaving the rank and set to rate "A" or "B".
- from the moment the customer is seated in the vehicle, in all other cases.
The night rate is applicable during the week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., all day on Sundays and public holidays.
The amount of tolls paid on the motorway may be claimed from the customer without any increase in price.
A note will be issued for any amount greater than or equal to €25, optionally less than €25 or upon request from the customer.
Regardless of the amount of the trip, the customer can pay in the vehicle by bank card.
Regardless of the amount on the meter, the amount received by the driver cannot be less than €8.00.
